2017 Gold Pennant Winners - Nowra

Congratulations to Nowra, the winners of the Gold Pennant. The final round of the Gold Pennant was played at Kiama on Monday 17th July. It was another thrilling finish with Nowra winning by 1/2 point from The Grange and Jamberoo another 1/2 point behind. Well done to the Nowra team: Jill Levi, Peta Merchant, Sandra England, Gloria Davis, Corinne McMillan, Sue Hunter, Shirley Moore, Linda Trusler.

 
 
Silver Pennants Winners St Georges Basin

2017 Silver Pennant Winners - St Georges Basin

The last round of the Silver Pennant competition was played at Shoalhaven Heads on Monday 3rd July. The St. Georges Basin team were very worthy winners of the Silver Pennant. The competition was very close between St. Georges Basin, Wollongong and Jamberoo and, with only a few points separating the teams, the final result was not known until the last players entered the clubhouse. Congratulations to the Basin Team: Val Kotlash, Del Buckley, Judi Nethery, Lois Dwyer, Diane McIvor, Vicki Diefenbach, Jill Bussell.

 
 
Bronze Pennant Winners The Links Shell Cove

2017 Bronze Pennant Winners - The Links Shell Cove

Congratulations to The Links Shell Cove team who won by 1/2 point to claim the 2017 Bronze Pennant. The last round was played in beautiful, sunny conditions at The Links course on Monday 26th June. It was a very close and exciting contest with the Highlands and Gerringong teams also jostling for the top position. The win capped a great return to pennant competition for the team from Shell Cove as it was 7 years since they last competed. Well done to Sarah Ryan, Leonie Williams, Kath Tanner, Kerry Michie, Chris Tolhurst, Laura Gomes and reserves Gael Doyle, Shirley Murphy.

Gold Pennants Winners Port Kembla

2016 Gold Pennant Winners - Port Kembla

There was a thrilling finish in the Gold Pennant with Port Kembla coming out final winners by half a point from Jamberoo. Congratulations to the Port Kembla Gold team of Debbie Byrnes, Brenda Powell, Lorraine Shoobridge, Rasma Kreilis, Sue Lacey, Shirley Parker, Nerida Edmonds, Bonita Bruce, Jenene Rimes.

 
 
Silver Pennants Winners Sussex Inlet

2016 Silver Pennant Winners - Sussex Inlet

The last round was played at St Georges Basin and the team of Caryl Baker-Turley, Wendy Larcombe, Wendy McKay, Carole Kemp and Lavon Byrnes brought it home for Sussex Inlet who won the Silver Pennant by a nail biting finish - half a point from St Georges Basin and with Vincentia also jostling for a position at the top. Well done ladies and congratulations on winning your first WGI Pennant. Reserves were Kaye Vincent & Marilyn Elder.

 
 
Bronze Pennant Winners Russell Vale

2016 Bronze Pennant Winners - Russell Vale

Russell Vale had a very big win in the last round at Gerringong and were very worthy winners of the Bronze Pennant. Russell Vale had their nose in front for most of the season. Well done to the team of Pam Sherlock, Trish Whant, Susy Middleton, Rita Beauchamp, Helen Todd, and reserves Coby Steele & Linda Schmidt. Congratulations on winning the inaugural 2016 WGI Bronze Pennant.

Pennants Final Scores 2015

Congratulations to Jamberoo Ladies, the 2015 Gold Pennant winners.

St Georges Basin Ladies provided strong competition and were once again the Runners-up.

Callala and Kiama teams competed for the Silver Pennant at Nowra Golf Club on Monday 13th July. It was a very close and exciting competition with the result determined on the 18th hole of the last match.

Congratulations go to the Kiama team, the winners of the 2015 Silver Pennant.
